Reettaleena is a dance teacher and dance artist, who began her path in dance at Hurja Piruetti. She graduated with a master's degree in dance pedagogy from the University of the Arts Helsinki in 2022 and a bachelor's degree in contemporary dance from Trinity Laban Conservatory in London (2016). Reettaleena has worked in the field of dance both in Finland and internationally for almost ten years. Her practice is based on somatics and experientiality, and focuses on the connections between the self and the body, the self and others, and the self and the surrounding world. Reettaleena's artistic-pedagogical philosophy is summarised in the motto: every body is a dancing body.
