Contemporary dance is a versatile danceform that has been influenced by other dance and art forms. Contemporary dance lessons may vary slightly depending on the teacher. In contemporary dance, each dancer proceeds according to the starting points of his own body and strives to develop his own individual way of moving and to produce his own movement. The training uses different types of movement, gravity and movements at different levels.

Contemporary dance lessons train branch-specific movements such as various stretches, swing, weight transfers, jumps and pirouettes. During the lessons, the whole body is used in a variety of ways and movement exercises develop strength, coordination and body knowledge. In addition, movement expression and musicality are practiced. The lessons begin with a warm-up and can also include technical exercises in the middle of the floor and through the space, as well as improvisation. The skills taught will be used and further developed in dance series and choreographies during the lessons.

The training is goal-oriented and progressive from one level to another. Practicing contemporary dance supports other dance genres well and contemporary dance is also suitable for those who like other dance classes as an extra lesson. You can start getting acquainted with contemporary dance from the age of 3 with children's dance lessons and the branch is suitable for all ages, the hobby can also be started as an adult.
