Ballet is a dance form with a long tradition, born at the court in Italy and France in the 15th century. Ballet is based on discipline and technical skill, which is the result of long training. Strong expression, linearity and lightness of movement are characteristic features of ballet. Classical ballet has its own vocabulary for movements and choreographies are compiled mainly by combining these movements.

In ballet lessons, you practice branch-specific movements such as different balances, stretches, jumps and pirouettes, usually accompanied by classical music. Exercises are done on a bar, in the middle of the floor and through the studio. The lessons develop mobility, strength, coordination and body knowledge through branch-specific exercises. In addition, movement expression and musicality are practiced. The skills learned will be used and further developed in dance series and choreographies during the lessons. Students will also learn about the branch's traditions and history.

The training is goal-oriented and progressive from one level to another. Practicing ballet supports other dance classes well and the ballet suits you who train other dance classes for an extra hour. Ballet enthusiasts benefit from several ballet lessons a week, and we also offer separate lessons in toe-tip technique and ballet choreography. You can start exploring ballet from the age of 3 and the branch is suitable for all ages, the hobby can also be started as an adult. In the school children's lessons, we get to know the branch in addition to branch-specific exercises through play and creative exercises.
