Here we dance with a great feeling to the latest hip-hop music. At Hurja Piruetti we mix Old School & New School mixed with elements of locking. You will learn what the right feeling means in street dance, but also that the technique is important. Streetdance is a collective name for the Hip-Hop related dances that appeared on the streets and clubs in the late 70's in the USA. Breaking / B-boying, locking, popping and new school are some of the styles that are considered street dance. The dance form itself is constantly evolving and follows the development of Hip-Hop music and is very personal. As a result, the style can vary greatly from teacher to teacher.
